How to get to Papassus and its Paparis chalet?

By car

From Castillon la Bataille,
- follow Bergerac direction
- After 4km, turn left on road D21 towards Villefranche de Longchat.
- Keep on D21 for about 4km then turn right on D21 ES toawards Saint Michel de Montaigne, Wach out the it is a sharp turn.
Right after, you'll see a small bridge over the Lechou..
- Right after the bridge, turn left on a small road toward le Fourquet.
- Go on that road for about 2km, pass the green gas spot and Le Fourquet hamlet that you will see on the right side of the road .
- Enter the woods again and when you'll come out of the wood about 700meters later, you'll see on the right a blue angel: there you are, you are made it, the chalet is right behind the angel.

Note that if you see the memorial to Montaigne on the right side of the road, or the "Papassus" sign later, it indicates that you are too far, you must make a U turn and come back.

By train

From Paris, take the train to Libourne (3h by TGV), then take the TER train heading Bergerac. You'll have stop at the first station, 10 minutes later: Castillon la Bataille;

From Marseille, take the train up to Marmande then a car or else go upto Bordeaux and then board the TER train heading Bergerac and stop at Castillon la Bataille.

Car rental is available at Libourne or Marmande, but not in Castillon la Bataille.

By regular plane

- closest airports: Bordeaux or Bergerac.
